Overview
This 23,000 square foot, 16-lane bowling alley, definitely puts a twist in bowling. Brooklyn Bowl commitment to green has awarded them the rank of being the world's first L.E.E.D certified bowling alley. Some of it's features include 100% wind-powered electricity, stage LED lights that use 90% less energy then the typical draw, a HVAC system that uses carbon dioxide sensors to regulate it's output and a stage flooring that is 100% recycled truck tires.

NYC Twestival 2009 For Camp Interactive
Rocketboom's Ellie Rountree checks out New York City's Twestival held at Brooklyn Bowl, which helped to raise money for local charity Camp Interactive. Although the video doesn't concentrate on the features of the building that contributed to Brooklyn Bowl's L.E.E.D certification, it does focus in on the uses of the building. So we do get an inside look of the building, the interior design and how the space can be utilized.
