History of this location:
Ciranda de Cores is located at in the historical village of Paraty. It is the shop of Eliane Lima (Lili), whose primary language is Portuguese. Elaine is a native of Paraty and all employees are from the island itself. In addition to being a shop, Ciranda de Cores’ other responsibilities include exhibitions, courses / workshops, and assistance to foreigners.

Sustainable features:
Ciranda de Cores specializes in making products related to home furnishings, children's crafts, religious art, accessories, clothing, paintings, prints, drawings, and souvenirs. According to Lili, “everything must be handmade” in order to be sold in her store, most of which she does herself. Products not made by Lili are made by friends and family, all of which are from the island. Sunlight lit up the shop and very little electricity was being used.

The items Lili uses to make the products for her shop are all recycled, re-used, or from nature. Locals of Paraty sometimes drop off unneeded fabrics or items for Lili to use because they know that those are the only resources she uses. Lili has established a good name for herself in the historical village of Paraty as the earth-friendly designer.
