Overview
One Lawrie Road
Built in the late 1920s, the house is in English cottage style, 1 1/2 stories high, with dormers and steep gables with exposed front beams. At the eaves, its shingle roof comes down to a thick curve which is reminiscent of thatched roofs. The white stucco walls are punctuated by tow large front windows with 50 panes each. Its original owner, John Gartland, built it as a second home.
