The Science Center contains a variety of exhibits that provides visitors with information about the sub-categories of science. It is open year-round and hosts many events that aim to encourage visitors to become more engaged with aspects of the world through learning about how science relates to numerous issues, such as climate changes and environmental issues. The opportunities to learn about the sciences is engaging through exhibits presenting visual aids and interactive activities that everyone can learn from and enjoy. General admission is free for everyone as well. It also disability- and stroller-accessible, providing ramps, elevators, and rear window open-captioning service (OMNIMAX Theater) for visitors. This site also provides opportunities for people to volunteer and participate in youth activities, such as summer science camps and camp-ins. The Science Center also hosts special events promoting people to develop better habits for living green.

The Science OFF Center provides similar opportunities and holds an important role with planning events, exhibits, and classes. It contains many programs dealing with numerous areas in the sciences, such as Earth and Planetary Sciences. In particular to ecological efforts, the Earth and Planetary Sciences program allows visitors to about aspects of science, such as ecological principles. Some of them are also available off-site and could be located near your area for better convenience. Overall, this is a wonderful site for both children and adults to gain a better understanding about Earth and beyond.
