We believe it’s important to be an active member of your community, and not just another store in the neighborhood.Busch's carries over 1,000 natural and organic products, including Over 230 organic produce items:

* Hard-to-find varieties of fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs
* Seasonal, tree-ripened and on-the-vine varieties

Busch's contributed 77,602 pounds of food to Food Gatherers, A non-profit food rescue organization that collects and distributes food to over 150 community programs, from Washtenaw County stores and also helped Food Gatherers fundraise a whopping 214 tons of food during 2007 alone!
As you might imagine, a grocery store receives a lot of cardboard boxes filled with the products that stock its shelves. At Busch’s we work hard to be a responsible recycler. In cooperation with our Spartan wholesaler, we recycled over 1,600 tons of recycled cardboard last year.
At some of our stores we also donate short-dated meat and dairy items to community groups that turn them into meals for those in need right away!
