南勢溪自行車道範圍有部份路線靠近水圳、部份道路與農田或水路相隔，為提供使用者一個可以安心欣賞田園景色、水圳風光的空間。此處也是南勢溪下游處，不僅可以欣賞南北勢溪交會處的景色，還可以體驗傳統溪邊洗衣的生活方式；位在鐵道東側高架橋旁有座鎮公所施作的遮陽網，任何時段都可以瞧見婦人帶者一籃又一籃的被單、衣物走下小階梯洗滌。除此之外，溪水清澈，青年人或孩童釣魚、玩水，站在水中引來小魚親吻腳，是假日休閒的好去處。

Parts of Nanshi Creek Cycling Route are closed to water channels, and some are separated by water channels or paddy fields. It provides tourists a safe and beautiful space with paddy landscape and nature creek .The route is also located on the downstream of Nanshi Creek. People can appreciate the beautiful scenery of the tributary of North and South Nanshi Creek and also experience the traditional lifestyle, such as doing laundry in the creek. Next to the East Side of Railroad Overpass, the government of Shalu has constructed the sunscreen netting. You can often see women carrying bags of blanket sheets and walking down the stairs to do laundry. Some teenagers would go fishing or play there.
