Overview
Dirt Candy serves vegetables in a different light in this small and very intimate restaurant in the East Village of Manhattan. Chef Amanda Cohen makes vegetables taste delicious and does not target the vegetarian population, she wants everyone to know just how good this "dirt candy" can taste. While they do not advertise being particularly healthy or green, Dirt Candy tries to buy local and organic produce whenever possible.
