Overview
Prince George's Plaza Metro station is a station on the Washington Metro's Green Line and Yellow Lines in Hyattsville, Maryland. While this station is largely a commuter station topped by a large parking garage next to a major highway, it is also walkable. This is thanks to its proximity to hundreds of homes, the Mall at Prince George's (accessible by sky bridge), and transit-oriented development at the University Town Center. It is also near to the Metro Shops center and Mosaic at Metro apartment complex. It takes cars off the road, reducing the region's carbon footprint and increasing access to economic opportunity for residents of Hyattsville as well as the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area as a whole.
