Overview
The Granåsen gård project is the largest sustainable residential project in the Nordic region. The development comprises 20 single houses, 80 terraced houses and 200 apartments. All dwellings have been built to a passive house standard and are designed to reduce energy demand and energy consumption in the home.
Granåsen is one of the projects under the Eco-city programme, a joint initiative between Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Spain. Eco-City is part of the European Commission CONCERTO initiative, which focuses on the development and demonstration of efficient energy solutions at the municipal level.
