Green Schools & Building Tour at Morgan State University
Join Hord Coplan Macht and the Morgan State University School of Architecture as we explore sustainability features at MSU’s new Center for the Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies (CBEIS). The building, which is on track to receive LEED Gold Certification, offers a collaborative learning environment for architecture, planning, engineering, and transportation students. We will meet in the sky-lit atrium before beginning our tour, highlighting the many sustainable elements – photovoltaic cells, rainwater harvesting system, day-lighting, and energy efficient heating and cooling systems, among many other features.
