Vue d'ensemble
The Maryland House was manufactured for the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, which was the first World's Fair to take place in the United States and also marked the one hundredth anniversary of U.S. independence. The pavilion was disassembled and moved to Druid Hill Park. It is now the Zoo Education Building.
