New York Aquarium
Vue d'ensemble
The New York Aquarium is part of the Wildlife Conservation Society. It was first opened on December 10, 1896, making it the oldest continually operating aquarium in the U.S. It was originally opened in Battery Park, New York, than moved to Coney Island, Brooklyn in 1957. The aquarium has over 250 species of aquatic wildlife. The New York Aquarium is a very historic spot in Brooklyn, especially in its current location, in Coney Island. I personally have been to the aquarium all the time ever since I was a little child. I recommend everyone go and visit the New York Aquarium at least once, especially if you are from the New York area. But, if you are a tourist and are visiting, you should definitely try to go and visit the aquarium in person. They also have shows outside, doing small shows with different animals for the audience, which is a great experience, especially for young adults and children.
