Vue d'ensemble
A wonderful, pretty hidden spot for sunbathing, swimming and snorkling, far away from beach vendors and the usual busy beach stuff. The little trail down to the cliffs starts at a small parking lot some hundred meters on the left hand side before arriving to Populonia. The walk down takes about 10-15 minutes and never hard but might be tricky for really small kids or elderly. If the trail is hard to see keep in mind to stay right and take the biggest paths. On your way down you find ruins of Etruscian houses and something that kind of looks like a bath. People sometimes camp and grill down by the cliffs, but keep a low profile since it's actually not allowed.
