atLarge is an online media company that has integrated environmental stewardship into its business model since its inception. "We plan, design, build and market Web sites, applications, social media, strategies and online ad campaigns".
The business is housed in an older building, but instead of modernizing during renovation by removing floors, walls and other elements, they enhanced what was already there by insulating, replacing lighting and adapting to the existing floor plan.
atLarge Inc, became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2008. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
