Vue d'ensemble
Blind Pass, also known as Middle Beach, offers Gulf-to-bay access, almost 3,000 feet of beach frontage, and across the road on the bay side, a beautiful trail through the mangrove forest, and a fishing dock.
The Hermitage, one of the oldest structures in Englewood, is located in the property.
Parking available from 6 a.m. to midnight.
Fred Duisberg Nature Trail
Off the narrow scenic road that weaves its way down Manasota Key, Blind Pass Beach is the southernmost beach in Sarasota County, and certainly its quietest. Starting from the beach parking area on the bay side of the road, the Fred Duisberg Nature Trail is a gentle meander through a mangrove forest to a scenic overlook across a mangrove-fringed cove within the Lemon Bay Conservancy.
