Vue d'ensemble
This group of fields supports a rich mixture of grasses, rushes and flowering plants, which bloom in succession from spring to late summer. Some parts of fields are well-drained and others very wet, with different plants occurring and varying in frequency according to the degree of dampness and soil-type. Many different insects and other invertebrates also find the conditions they need here.
