福國寺 Fu Kuo Temple

概览

福國寺現為中州寮地區唯一的佛教廟宇，由和妙法師於民國56年開始募款，63年籌建，從事弘揚佛法活動，嘉惠居民，民國69年元月法師宣布退居後，由佛光山接辦，之後更加積極推展弘法活動，舉辦佛學講座、定期辦理各項法會……等，致力淨化人心，推動人間佛法。
民國72年成立慈航幼稚園，並設有成人、兒童才藝班，積極與社區結合。

Fu Kuo Temple is the only Buddhist Temple in the Jhong Jhou Liao area. Master Hemiao began fundraising for the temple since 1967. The construction of the temple began in year 1974. Since then, the temple held many Buddhist activities which helped the local residents. Master Hemiao retired in January, 1980. Fo Guang Shang Monastery took over and managed the temple till now. They continue to held Buddhist activities and devote their efforts in promoting humanistic Buddhism.
They established the Ci Hang kindergarten in year 1983. The kindergarten designed many courses for both adults and children which promotes community involvement.
