Overview
Coastal Organics is a farm run by Paul, Mary, and Mark Carpenter hailing from Oxnard, California. They have been growing for farmers markets since about 1982 and have since then become certified organic. While they originally had aspirations of being roadside vendors, they ultimately made the move to sell to restaurants and farmers markets due to the selectivity of roadside shoppers. Throughout the years, the Carpenters have adjusted their product selection to suit the needs of the customers, remaining within the field of vegetables such as brussel sprouts, broccoli, and tomatoes, but changing the variety to maintain interest.
