Radial opened in April, 1999, intent on creating and serving good food in a happy, friendly atmosphere. Along the way, we've found ourselves becoming part of the many communities surrounding us.
We have witnessed a growing new community, made up of our friends, workers, neighbors and customers. Whether individuals or organizations, we enjoy interacting with our neighbors, and seek to extend help when and where able.
We say Radial serves American food. To us, that means food born from this fusion reflecting the cultures and communities of the society in which we live.
This year Radial became a member of the Green Restaurant Association. As part of our commitment to the environment we've taken the following steps to make Radial a more environmentally responsible business:
paper for printing, to-go menus & copies is 100% recycled
to-go cups and lids are 100% compostable - from corn instead of petroleum-based styrene foam
to-go coffee cups are lined with corn instead of a petroleum based liner; coffee jackets are made from unbleached 100% recycled paper
everyday light fixtures use fluorescent bulbs reducing our energy consumption and carbon footprint
instead of polystyrene containers, to-go boxes are 100% recycled and unbleached
recycling is expanded to a complete program including: plastic and steel food containers, cardboard boxes, office paper, junk mail, newspaper, glass, aluminum
sink faucets have low-flow aerators reducing water consumption
bathrooms are stocked with 100% recycled paper products
