Pierce's Park incorporates playground space and environmental information amidst the bio-swales and rain gardens featured in the park. The park is also home to a musical fence, interactive sculptures made by David Hess, a living willow tunnel, and homonym-engraved pavings. The creation of this park was sponsored by the family of Pierce Flanagan III and designed by the architecture firm Mahan Rykiel Associates.
