Southeast Wales is rich in archaeology, with monuments ranging from the Paviland Cave on Gower, used by people in the Palaeolithic period, to the World Heritage Site of Blaenavon, one of the cradles of the Industrial Revolution. The Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust's aim is to help people of all ages understand and appreciate this rich heritage, and to care for it so that it is preserved for the future.
