Overview
The Growing Friends Community Garden, which began in 2013, consists of 20' x 20' plots for traditional gardening, 4' x 8' raised beds for square foot gardening, and 4' x 4' wheelchair accessible table-top beds for square foot gardening. Plots are available on a first come, first serve basis for a yearly fee of $10. The garden is located at the corner of Hill Street and Spruce Street in Wisconsin Rapids. Growing Friends Community Garden
Not everyone has land for a garden. But in Wisconsin Rapids, no space, no problem! In 2013, Growing Friends Community Gardens put down roots in the city. Now everyone has the opportunity to grow their own fresh, healthy food.
