Crossroads College Preparatory School
Overview
Crossroads is the first school in the St. Louis metropolitan region to be awarded Platinum Certification which is the highest level of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). It is the only K-12 school in the midwest to receive this award, and one of six nation wide. A huge portion of the original building was renovated, and about 9,000 square feet were added to the building for a new library and new science classrooms. The renovations and additions include a stormwater plan, a rain garden, space for a future outdoor classroom, and a solar hot water system just to name a few.
