Overview
The "Brewhouse" in Ferguson, only a couple miles down the street from UMSL, is known around the community for brewing their own beer. The brewery itself is visible from the restaurant and is found in the back of the building. This process of local brewing is eco-friendly when considering the process of distributing goods such as beer. Beer usually comes in containers such as glass or metal cans, materials that are frequently disposed of and thrown away instead of recycled. By brewing their own beer within the restaurant, this allows this process to stop while therefore helping the environment. The Brewery's beer is also made with all natural ingredients, advocating the use of organic products.
