Overview
The UMSL's residence hall that houses students who are under 23 years of age has a responsible recycling practice. Located at the basement level of Oak Hall is a rather large recycling bin that encourages students to throw away glass, aluminum, and plastic bottles separately. The recycling bin is emptied on a weekly basis while the trash is emptied bi-weekly. Turns recycling into habits that students will take up even after they leave the dorms to live on their own.
