UMSL's Low Energy Consumption Rating
![Energy Conservation: Site, service, project or products that minimize the use of energy. Energy Conservation](https://www.opengreenmap.org/sites/default/files/taxonomy_image/category_pictures_29.gif)
Overview
UMSL uses time-controlled thermostats and updating systems to help reduce energy consumption. By doing this UMSL has achieved the lowest energy rate among the four UM campuses. As well, one of the most efficient rates nationally! UMSL continues to update their system programming, lighting and equipment around campus to keep their energy rate down.
