Overview
Sunshine Meadows Farm . We are a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). You can pay a yearly fee, and get a share of our fresh food each week during the growing season ! Contact us to order a share. We are a small, family farm utilizing organic practices in raising our food and animals. We have a mixed flock of chickens and sell brown, green, white and chocolate eggs in a mixed (not graded) dozen. Our chickens enjoy spending their days out on pasture that is free from pesticides and herbicides, and choose to roost in their coop when the sun sets at night. Grains are offered, free choice, that is free of by-products, antibiotics or hormones. In other words, 100% organic to supplement their pastured diet! Chickens eggs are $3.50/doz. Duck eggs available seasonally $6/half-dozen.

Also available from late May-October is a variety of vegetables and fruit grown in an organic method. Herbs and flowers are also offered.
Other items we offer are goats shares, meat birds such as broilers, ducks and heritage turkeys in limited quantity. Reservations for turkeys are NOW being accepted for Thanksgiving 2009. Last year we were sold out by the end of September so get your orders in early! Our meat birds are pasture raised either in a movable tractor or free-ranged, and organic grain fed. This year we have one "mascot" turkey parading around the farm, a White Holland named Puff. He loves to show off his feathers.
