Overview
Nestled in nature, this the Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is a Michigan Energy Demonstration Center, featuring a living green roof, passive and active solar and wind energy, and many other energy efficient and natural components. Programs, tours and activities related to sustainable living - creating a more healthy self and earth - are available.
Founded in the mid 1970's, the Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing experiences and resources that promote a sustainable relationship with the natural world and each other. The center sponsored a local Earthday Expo in2008-9.
