![Wildlife Habitat: Native environment for animals and the plants that sustain them. ![Native Forests/Plants: Flora that is indigenous in the region, sometimes called old growth, heirloom or indigenous species. Native species requires less water and care than exotic imports, and usually attract more birds, bees and butterflies, and help the cycle of life stay in balance. ![Community Garden: Often planted on public or formerly abandoned land, community gardens are run by volunteers who cultivate vegetables or flowers and closer relationships to nature and one another. Generally open to all participants, they are sometimes fenced, locked or threatened by development. May offer hands-on learning and a habitat for birds and insects. Overview
A green space on Dinas Powys train station, Cardiff Road side. Currently full of wild herbaceous plants and grasses. Think a nice idea would be to do a combination wildlife, low maintenance, edible perennials on the green area, incorporating and adding to existing species and on the small rectangular area, consider low raised beds for more maintained patch of edibles, potentially some signage as well explaining what the patch is all about etc
