Overview
There is large car park at the back of a small group of shops inc. a Budgens, on Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys. Even though some of the space would be needed for car parking and deliveries, there is still alot left over. I think there are possibilities here for raised beds, with seasonal annuals and perennial mixtures of edibles, veg, soft fruit and flowers. A good solution could be using one tonne bags as raised beds - these are cheap and not permanent so a good way of testing the waters before investing in more permanent structures. There might also be some possibilities of growing against the building walls with shop owner’s permission.
