Overview
The Gainesville Renewable Energy Center is a biomass plant that cleanly burns locally-sourced wood. The plant complies with the Florida Division of Forestry Best Management Practices and is committed to sustainable forestry. The plant provides a local fuel source to insure stability in a changing fuel market.
