Overview
The San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park is a rare example of mature Florida hammock woodland. Much of the 7350 acre park is designated for hiking, providing quiet solitude for a true wilderness experience. The remaining comprises one of Florida’s top mountain biking destinations.
Unmatched for its quality of cross-country biking in the state of Florida, San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park offers over 30 miles of single-track mountain bike trails.
Over 10 miles of horse trails allow riders the opportunity to pass through a variety of natural areas.
There is also a hand launched glider field for our RC enthusiasts!
The bike, horse and glider activities are at the North Entrance to the park off 441.
On the south side of the park off Millhopper road, there are 4 trails for nature viewing and hiking. The distances of these trails are 1.0, 2.3 mile, 4.8 mile, and 5.6 mile.
