Overview
Independent from the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Public Library systems, The Queens Public Library system is considered the second largest library in the country in terms of size of collections.
Even though all Queens Public Libraries offer free internet and computer services, the Queens Central Library offers over 80 computers with internet, free for public use (one hour only) - also offers free Wi-Fi with a library card and ID number.
The Queens Central Library offers:
A number of collections, references, business prints, materials in over 60 languages, maps, census records, a job information center, and even exhibits!
While offering a diverse range of services, the Queens Public Library system hosts a number of free events (free concerts the 1st Sunday of every month!) for community residents to take part in!
