Overview
6th & B Community Garden is located on East 6th Street and Avenue B. In 1982, a committee of the 6th Street A-B Block Association petitioned the City's Operation Green Thumb for a lease and converted the 17,000 square foot site into a community garden. 1996, The Trust for Public Land gave the garden permanent site status, and the association became an official not-for-profit organization.
