En este sitio se encuentra ubicado el patrimonio arqueológico de las culturas Ilama, Yotoco, Sonso, Tumaco, Bolo-Quebradaseca y Quimbaya tardío, que se encontraban situadas en el Valle del Cauca antes de la llegada de los españoles, se puede decir que en este sitio esta lo que se encontro de nuestros ancestros del Valle del Cauca.
