Overview
The Charles Evans Children’s Discovery Trail
Trail Information: The Charles Evans Children's Discovery Trail is designed to engage the young (and young-at-heart) in the wonders of nature. Along the trail, interactive signs guide explorers through different habitats. The trail begins in a meadow and then continues on into a forest through a swamp, where boardwalks keep visitors dry. Next, the trail crosses an old stone wall that was once the boundary of a pasture, into a rocky area. Finally, the trail crosses a stream and ends at Halfway Point, where a bench invites visitors to sit and listen to nature.
