Medical Center Company Coal Fired Boilers
Overview
MCCO plant provides electricity, chilled water, and steam to many University Circle organizations.
Steam generation uses 2 - 100,000 pounds and 2- 50,000 pounds of steam per hour natural gas fired boilers, with the majority of steam produced from 2 - 100,000 pound per hour coal fired boilers that use between 40,000 and 50,000 tons of coal per year.
