Overview
The Laurel Public Library is a brand new building that is a part of the Prince George's County Memorial Library System. It is located very close to Laurel's Main Street, making it a short walk for many residents This can reduce the greenhouse emissions associated with driving. This also allows many individuals to have access to a wide variety of resources without needing to find a car. For those who do drive, the library contains two electric car charging stations, promoting an alternative approach to personal transit. The library's computer lab also offers programming lessons.
