Overview
Walking around here is refreshing with tree-lined streets and a friendly atmosphere. There's plenty of parks, historic places to visit and some houses which just look fantastic.
Late at night, the little town centre up the road still has enough people to keep the businesses open to fairly late. The Indian take-away and restaurants are awesome - and there's even Greek (award winning no less, its always packed!), Lebanese and Japanese food within strolling distance. If you're up for a 10-15 minute stumble though, all of Parramatta's clubs and pubs are just up the road.
There are many Indian restaurants and small service businesses located in this area and many of these businesses are based in the heritage houses that are scattered around Harris Park. When you walk along the main street - Wigram Street, you are greeted by the smells of Indian food.
