El Huaso Enrique Restaurant
Overview
El Huaso Enrique is a traditional Chilean restaurants located in the historical Barrio Yungai. “Huaso” is the traditional nickname given in Chile to the real Chilean from the countryside. “El Huaso Enrique” was actually who founded this place in 1952 (Enrique Araya). He came from the countryside to Santiago opened this traditional Chilean restaurant. Nevertheless, in the current project, the main feature of this resource is not its typical Chilean food, but the local music. El Huaso Enrique has gained a reputation for being a place where the Chilean music and dance have a predominant importance every day and this is the main aspect this project aim to highlight. The restaurant is easy to access by Quinta Normal Subway station, with the 5 train.
