Overview
Since 1964, Children's World Uniform & Supply has been the leader with the highest quality products, and old-fashioned personal customer service. Unique toys & games; free gift wrapping; school, sport and work uniforms; custom embroidery; digital printing; promotional products; and a U.S. Post Office for mailing convenience are all provided by the team at Children's World. Recently named the winner of the second place runner-up spot in the Independent Small Business of the Year Award - the "Indie", come experience Children's World.
Children's World Uniform Supply became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2008. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County. This site has been recognized for its Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ practices. The Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ program recognizes the use of environmentally friendly garden gardening and landscaping practices. Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ minimizes the use of potable water for irrigation, avoids the runoff of excess fertilizers and pesticides from the landscape and provides habitats for wildlife. They can take any form, from more conventional and manicured to more natural. It’s how you maintain your yard that ultimately determines if it’s Florida-friendly.
