Overview

No votes yet

Named for Jim Neville, a renowned Sarasota environmentalist, this island is a popular boating destination.

With its very low elevation, it makes for a wet hike during high tides, but the variety of coastal birds, plants, and wildlife make it well worthwhile.

The Neville Marine Preserve Trail is located in Little Sarasota Bay. The route meanders around the 35-acre Jim Neville Marine Preserve, which is located between Siesta and Casey Keys.

Kayak tours offered by Adventure Kayak Outfitters and Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures.

Please pack your trash off the island: "Leave no Trace".
