Overview
Lowland Bison Ranch is a Stevens Point business focusing on raising and harvesting bison, also known as buffalo. Bison meat is healthy and naturally lean; however, the owners of the ranch go even further to keep the animals healthy by using natural grazing methods and not using growth hormones. Lowland Bison Ranch is a member of the Central Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas which requires members to protect the natural environment and properly treat animals and employees. The ranch’s store has bison products available for purchase including all cuts of bison meat, skulls, hides, and bones. The store is open by request.
