UWSP Campus Garden
Overview
The UWSP Campus Garden was created and is maintained by the Sustainable Agriculture in Communities student organization. It is currently in its third growing season and hosts workshops on topics, such as canning and composting, and also serves as an outdoor classroom to teach about organic farming and alternative farming techniques, such as greenhouse season extension and vermicomposting. SACS holds a Harvest Dinner each fall in which they cook a meal using produce from the garden. The garden produce, which includes onions, peppers, carrots, and tomatoes, is for sale.
