Overview
Whitefeather Organics is a sustainable, 17 acre farm that grows natural food products but also specializes in shitake and other mushrooms, custom milled wood, and timber framing. The farm has an on-site sawmill and the barn is built of custom milled lumber and timber framing. Whitefeather Organics uses only natural compost from the farm for fertilizer and intense cover cropping to maintain healthy soil. Whitefeather Organics will be introducing more free-grazing farm animals in the near future. The farm hopes to become a community role model to help educate about natural farming practices. Whitefeather organics hosts mushroom and wood milling classes. Call for more information on class schedules.
