The Agricultural Economic Development program provides agricultural business planning and business management consulting, as well as agricultural technical assistance and market research and development services. They also sponsor agricultural business classes and workshops, and serve as a link to the Northeast Center for Food Entrepreneurship and other programs for beginning and small-scale food processing businesses.

Eligible recipients of services include:
