את קפה בירנבאום הוותיק, הממוקם בקצה נחלת בנימין מנהלות מזה 25 שנים שתי האחיות פנינה וסימה, המגישות אוכל צמחוני ביתי איכותי ובריא. הקפה מציע בופה שבו כלולות עשרות מנות צמחוניות (שרובן גם טבעוניות). הגישה לבופה חופשית וניתן למלא את הצלחת שוב ושוב בתבשילי ירקות, קטניות ודגנים המשתנים מדי יום.
כמוסד תל אביבי ותיק, כדאי להגיע לקפה בירנבאום גם כדי להנות מהאווירה החמודה והתוססת, ולא לפספס את חנות הצמר הסמוכה, המתמידה במאמציה לעטוף את כל העצמים ברחוב ביריעות צמר צבעוניות.

Birenbaum Cafe is a well known institution in Tel Aviv, run by sisters Pnina and Simona, who make home made, healthy and delicious vegetarian food. The Cafe offers a buffet which includes dozens of vegetarian (and mostly vegan) dishes. Buffet access is free and you can fill your plate again and again with vegetable, legume, and cereal dishes. Cafe Birenbaum is also worth a visit for the cute vibrant atmosphere, and make sure not to miss the next door wool shop, which is, slowly but surely, covering all the items in the street with beautiful colorful wool.
