2012 First Prize in Uridongnae Greenmap Program Contest
■ Name: Natural Village of Gwangmyung City, “Tracing Old Paths”
■ Theme: Natural village, education, history
■ Location: Gwangmyung city in Gyounggi Province
■ Organizer: “Old Future” team of Social and Environmental Dept. in Green Gwangmyung Local Agenda 21
■ Content:
- Planning, 13times of on-offline map production, 1 training, 4times of research, 1 distribution of map, etc.
- Data collection by interviews with inhabitants about the Gwangmyung city and documentation
- Games for the youth grown up in Gwangmyung City to increase their awareness about the city
- Developing 5 icons of Greenmap to be newly applied
- Proceeding a good travel called “Old Future of Gwangmyung” based on the research data
■ Importance: This map increases awareness of Gwangmyung’s old days by Greenmapping the contents in creative and unique format (game board) for the students.
