老樹木麻黃 Old Casuarinas Tree

依據現年75歲的林老先生說從小就有這棵樹了，所以樹齡至少70年以上，與北安路旁十多年數齡的鳳凰樹相較，顯得高大無比。是當年王姓地主所植，作為與隔鄰林姓家族之地界標誌。當時還在樹旁鑿有一口水井，約於70年代填平。當時庄內有許多木麻黃，後來因為土地利用，幾乎砍伐殆盡。王姓一家已搬離現址，徒留空地與破屋，老樹乃得以保留至今。

Location: At the intersection between Ally 116, Lane171, Sec. 5, Anhe Rd. and Bei An Road.
According to the recollection of 75 years old Mr. Lin, the tree is at least 70 years old. They are much taller than the Flame trees on Bei An Road which are only ten years old. The tree was planted by the landlord, Mr. Wang. It was used as a land mark to segregate from the neighboring land which belonged to the Lin family. There was a well next to the old tree. However, it was leveled up around the 1980s. Most of the Casuarinas trees were chopped down for land development. Now, the Wang family had moved away, leaving the old Casuarinas tree still standing tall for everyone to see.
