Overview
Windrose Farm is a collection of about 50 acres of habitat, vegetable, apple, and sheep grazing land east of Paso Robles. Certified organic in August of 1999, some of the produce they offer includes tomatoes, potatoes, onions, green beans, dry beans, peppers, eggplant, winter squash, carrots, turnips, beets, melons, and various types of greens. They also offer fresh flowers and an apple orchard. The apple orchard was added later on in the farms history, in 1998, with a large variety of apples becoming available. Windrose Farm joined the Santa Monica Farmers Market in 2002 and serves another farmers market in Santa Barbara. Their products are also available through local markets and restaurants in San Luis Obispo County.
